My baby... six months old!!!

Saturday October 24th
Cj is such a HAM! He is such a good baby. Never cries, a good eater, finally sleeping through the night, and loves attention from his brother! He Loves to grab things, sit up by himself (although sometimes falling over, which Porter loves to watch him do), loves eating his rice cereal and wants our food when we eat! Even with his first cold he is smiling and laughing! Cj loves to cuddle with anyone and will go to anyone with a smile. He loves to gibber jabber and grab his toes. I am so blessed to have yet another happy baby!

Six months stats-17 pounds and 26 inches long

Short and stocky...Just they way I like them!

Tractors, Trailers, and Hiches...Oh MY!

Since moving to Idaho Porter has been very curious about the farming world around us! The potato Field across the road has been one crop that he has enjoyed watching grow. I have attempted to tell him what I know about the process. Finally harvest was here. Papa, Pk and I walked over to watch them harvest the potato's. After watching for a few minutes, our neighbor asked if Porter wanted to go on a RIDE! Porter's face just lit up, as did mine so excited for this opportunity for him. I asked Pk who he wanted to ride with, as an adult had to ride with him and he walked over to his papa and just smiled. So off they went. He road for a good 20 minutes. Dad said he didn't touch a thing and was such a good boy. Here are a few pics!

Just playing around before the ride!Just watching in amazement. Here the truck rides next to the tractor as they load up the potato's!Waiting for another truck to load more potato's. Porter is running to me to tell me all about his ride! It was dark by now and the pic isn't that clear, but I kind of like how it turned out!

Great website for kids!

Realizing I might go crazy with the kids this winter and not being able to spend too much time outside ( besides playing in the snow) I have been searching for things to keep them busy. I have to say I love the Internet. I am so glad I live in a time where I have this luxury!

Anyhow, this website has so many crafty things to do with your kids. I love that most of them don't take much money, but easily entertain!

This morning we made this tree. I am excited to explore this new site. I thought I would share for those of you that have kids to entertain.

SNOW DAY!

video

I woke up this morning, at 6 am with Porter and I looked out the window and saw SNOW! This is the first time it has snowed in town this year so far. We had snow on the the mountain's last week. I have mixed feelings about this. I am excited because it is so beautiful and fun to play in, but in the other hand I know how difficult it will be to drive, pack up the kids in all there winter clothes, which Porter has already thank goodness!
Porter went to let the dog out the front door to go to the bathroom and decided he would go out too. He had a very special snow outfit on...PJ's and crocks!!! He ran out in the snow, but son realized it was cold and came inside crying cuz he was so cold. I told him to come in and put on his real snow suit. So we dressed him and he went out in the back yard. He played with his yellow wagon and made foot prints in the snow. Then when i asked him to come in he didn't want to of course, so i carried him in kicking and yelling at me. I guess we are only expecting snow today and then it is going to clear up. I asked mom if this is an early snow and she said that she has not seen snow before December in all the years she has lived here. Lucky us!!!!

5 Months

I just love this chubby little man! CJ is such a delight to have around the house. He is such a good baby. He never cries, unless he is hungry or tired, but he has to be at his breaking point to really cry. He goes to bed easily, but not yet sleeping through the night, but Porter won't either, so I am up either way! CJ constantly has his hand or mine in his mouth and drooling all over me. He loves to talk to us and laugh at his older brother. He is ticklish all over and we love to see his big toothless smile! He puts up a lot from his brother; patting his head or belly, kissing him, rolling him over, and hugging him!

I take one day at a time and try to make special one on one time with each of them, making sure they know I care about them. It has been rewarding loving each of these boys. My goal today, take time to teach them. It is my role as a parent, to teach them how to be happy and successful.

First Day Of School Times 2

September 18, 2009

Porter started preschool for the first time. I was so trilled when i finally found a place that wasn't full. I have been looking for a preschool for weeks now, but all of them have been full. With BYU and all these small growing families, it became so hard to find an open spot.
Porter goes to school Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 12-2pm. For him, I think this year is more about being social with kids his age, Rather then any serious education, but there is some learning. I could tell he was a little deprived of playing and meeting kids his age since moving here, so i was trilled to finally find an open spot! He is so easy going, friendly, kind, and out going. When I dropped him off on Friday, he just walked right in and didn't even say goodbye.

KJ also started school this month. I am so proud of him! Anyone who knows Kevin, knows that he was so nervous to go back to school, hence why he put it off for so long! He says he has weakness, but i have yet to see then. Truly he is a man of COURAGE! It has been exciting to watch him get back into his grove with school. He has been so studious. He is caring a full load of school and working part time. He likes all his classes. He has 3 on campus and 2 online. Luckily all his classes are at night. So after he gets home from work, he spends most of the afternoon doing homework. He does a lot of reading. He has found that he really has to stay focus on school and on top of all his assignments.

Love you Babes...I knew you could Do It!!!
